What to expect when Commissioning a Sculpture

    1. A complimentary consultation to discuss your budget, hopes, and expectations. This can be followed by an in-person meeting or site-visit.

  • For Portrait Commissions: A letter of agreement outlining the sitter’s availability and proposed completion date for the model.

For Public, Private and Corporate Commissions: A Commission Agreement Contract.

  • For Portrait Commissions: I can host sitters at my studio (SW11 5QL) and/or travel to their home.

For Public, Private, and Corporate Commissions: I will work from my studio (SW11 5QL), and you will be invited to view the work in progress.

  • Bronze casting, where the foundry’s lead time is generally 12-20 weeks. I will project manage this and visit the foundry to quality control the wax, raw bronze, assembly, patination, and mounting of your sculpture. You will be invited to the foundry to choose a patina (surface colour) and watch its application.

  • Where required, I will be on hand to advise, arrange delivery and, if necessary, installation of your sculpture.
