Niobe, 2024

42 x 33 x 29 cm

Drawing on the classical figure transformed into stone by grief, Niobe presents the face as both portrait and psychological landscape. Her closed eyes, tear-like markings and enclosing form play with themes of memory, loss and endurance: reflection as an encounter with what cannot be undone.
